By the end of a period of learning, such as the end of a unit, the multiple skills and knowhow need to be connected together and used in unison to carry out tasks that are not only academic but real life as well.
Teachers will learn to design and use performance tasks as part of the learning and assessment so that students can demonstrate their learning in carrying out tasks such as creating new knowledge, solving problems, and application in practical real life situations.
