The Training and Development Department creates, promotes, and fosters organizational effectiveness by developing and offering a wide range of programs in support of the organization’s commitment to teaching and learning, partnerships, and organizational enrichment.

We accomplish our mission by focusing on the following goals:
1. Provide quality training designed to increase learners’ and teachers’ productivity
2. Provide development opportunities that enhance knowledge, develop skills, and enrich the teaching/learning capacity of schools.
3. Create, promote, and foster an organizational environment that values development, diversity, and growth opportunities for our employees, schools, and partners.
4. Provide schools with the tools to respond effectively to learners’ needs as well as current and future demands for service.
5. Provide ongoing leadership and support to the schools’ succession efforts.
6. Promote and support technology resources and tools to improve and enhance learning efficiency and improve customer service.

OUR ACTIVITY
1. We are responsible for identifying staff training and development needs, and for planning, organising and overseeing appropriate training.
2. We liaise with schools to identify and assess training and development needs. We deliver and oversee the training of schools or groups of schools.
3. We supervise and monitor progress made via training programmes or schemes.
4. We ensure stakeholders receive required training that meets their teachers’ and learners’ needs.
5. We design and assess training programmes to ensure the effective implementation of all our educational programmes.

OUR TEAM
Our team is experienced in teaching and learning, instructional design and implementation, and the design/delivery of professional development workshops.
We have employed educational leaders to help develop our training programs and materials. They are professionals who have spent a great deal of their professional career in the classroom and who have extensive educational experience. They are a great source of talent to design our instructional materials initially and then update them periodically. Our team can work with schools’ subject matter experts to create and deliver useful and professional training materials.
Our team continuously researches the latest trends online, network with schools and training professionals, and revise our programs to take advantage of the latest best practices.
